European Events and Meeting Planner Coordinator

Salary: Up to £55,000 plus amazing benefits & bonus

Based in Victoria, London, our client is a leading privately-owned financial services firm with offices worldwide. Serving individual investors and financial institutions around the globe through a broad range of products and services such as asset management, financial advisory as well as investments for both the private and HNW sectors.

Role summary:

This exciting and new role is part of the European Meeting and Events Team and is responsible for developing and implementing a variety of corporate meetings and events across the European Regions. There will be occasional travel required throughout Europe to build long lasting and fluid relationships with your colleagues. This includes organising in-house conferences, meetings and bespoke events. If you are extremely organised with a meticulous attention to detail and thrive at multi-tasking in a fast-paced structure with minimal supervision, then this role is for you!

Role responsibilities:

  • Coordinating European Meetings

· Managing both internal and external relationships with site managers and associates

· Ability to manage and schedule EU Video Conference & Telepresence technical scheduling

· Assisting with support and remote troubleshooting as and when needed

· Ability to communicate with C-Suite level executives

· Ability to identify, analyse, and resolve business issues

· Ability to provide factual MI reports

· Acting as the point of contact and support for associates and vendors

  • Ability to articulate compelling business cases

· Ability to develop agenda items and guides discussions

  • Ability to work independently



· 3 + years’ experience of global meetings and events is desirable but not essential

· Previous experience working in a similar position or operations experience within a corporate environment is desirable

· Degree Educated is essential

  • Small amount of travel required to build relationships- Luxemburg, Milan, Geneva, Zurich etc.
  • Previous experience using the CRM systems EMS and Codec are desirable but not essential

· Exceptional technical aptitude and proficient with MS software’s

  • Previous European work exposure/ability to juggle multiple time zones desirable
  • Ability to monitor progress make adjustments as needed in a timely manner
  • Experienced in actively participating in and/or leading various adhoc projects
  • Ability to identify opportunities and trends to improve department processes and effectiveness

· Demonstrates ability to develop/maintain internal and external relationships

· Demonstrates effective written and oral communication skills

· Demonstrates sound judgment in resolving matters of moderate complexity

  • Characteristics- logical, flexible, resilient, agile, adaptable, ability to work calmly with ambiguity and when under pressure
