Based in East India Dock, this Lead Receptionist opportunity reports to the Community Manager and supervises other front of house staff requiring leadership and delegating talents. It would be a brilliant opportunity for a front of house individual with a warm, approachable and helpful nature. Maybe you’ll come from a hospitality, charity or co-working background and will undoubtedly be community and customer focused.

- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

- Maybe previous experience in hospitality, co-working or charity sector or possibly volunteering experience with the desire to “give back”

- Overseeing Front of House staff and duties
- Holding progress meetings with Receptionist
- Meeting and greeting visitors and tenants
- Acting as a first point of contact
- Booking meeting rooms
- Maintaining database of contacts
- Answering calls
- Issuing visitor passes
- Assisting with post, deliveries etc
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and beautiful Reception area
- Managing music, CCTV, consumables etc
- Setting up meeting rooms and event space
- Reporting maintenance issues to Facility Manager
- Dealing with reception expenses
- Monthly reporting
- Uploading website content
- Creative involvement to community program
