Admin & Accounts Assistant
- Dual role – a varied mix of office admin and accounts
- To £35K
- 25 days holiday, discretionary twice-yearly bonus, gym contribution and subsidy, 3% pension, 50% Bupa, phone £70 per month, plus more

Accounts / Admin Assistant - role overview:
This is a perfect dual admin/accounts role for an Excel whizz who enjoys loads of variation and a real mix of office management, general admin, accounts, and some HR involvement too.
This highly successful, professional Recruitment firm has gorgeous City-based offices here in London as well as in Dubai and German-speaking European cities, so German language skills would be a bonus but are not essential. More important is your enthusiasm, proactive nature, and ability to hit the ground running in this fast-moving environment. You’ll have a varied office background with excellent organisational talents, an eye for figures, and well-developed problem-solving skills. This is a responsible, linchpin-type opportunity with lots of liaisons with the EMEA offices, suppliers, contractors, etc.

Accounts / Admin Assistant - key requirements:
- 1-2 years’ all-round office admin experience
- Great MS Office skills with excellent Excel
- An analytical, solutions-driven approach
- Excellent communication, enthusiasm, and a good sense of humour!
- Process-driven with methodical attention to detail
- Proactive and quick to learn
- High level of initiative
- German language skills are a bonus!
Accounts / Admin Assistant - key responsibilities:
- Controlling purchase ledger for all EMEA regions
- Reconciling accounts and card statements
- Logging invoices onto Excel
- Dealing with overseas payments
- Assisting with VAT preparation and monthly payroll
- Preparing documents and reports
- Office management and building services responsibilities
- Managing staff holiday bookings across the EMEA region
- Assisting with renewing annual licenses etc for EMEA offices
- Updating handbooks and employee contracts and assisting with onboarding
- Proofreading and editing documents
- Keeping up to date with UK GDPR and Covid 19 safety matters
- Office Health & Safety
- Setting up conference calls and assisting with IT matters
